About National Scouting Report
National Scouting Report (NSR) is one of the most established and respected names in college recruiting. Founded in 1980, NSR was built on a simple but powerful idea: talented student-athletes deserve knowledgeable guidance, honest evaluation, and real connections to college coaches.
What began as a single recruiting resume created by founder Bob Rigney has grown into a national—and global—scouting organization trusted by families and college programs alike. For more than four decades, NSR has helped student-athletes navigate an increasingly competitive recruiting landscape by providing structure, clarity, and proven expertise.
NSR scouts work directly in the field, conducting in-person evaluations and interviews to ensure accuracy, credibility, and accountability. Our approach prioritizes personal relationships, detailed assessments, and a commitment to matching athletes with colleges that align with their athletic, academic, and personal needs.
Beyond recruiting outcomes, NSR believes in the power of sports to shape lives. Discipline, sacrifice, leadership, and teamwork are central to our culture—for both the athletes we serve and the professionals who represent our brand.
At NSR, standards matter. We hold ourselves, our scouts, and our athletes accountable for doing the work the right way. If you’re passionate about sports, driven to make an impact, and motivated to help families make informed recruiting decisions, you’ll find purpose—and opportunity—here.
National Scouting Report is seeking motivated Area Scouts to represent NSR within assigned territories. Area Scouts serve as trusted advisors to student-athletes and families, helping them navigate the college recruiting process through evaluation, education, and enrollment into NSR programs.
